UC Health Esophageal Disease Center is a multi-disciplinary program that provides comprehensive, innovative and compassionate care to patients with diseases of the esophagus. Our center includes specialists from thoracic surgery, general surgery, hematology-oncology, surgical oncology, radiology and radiation oncology as well as a full support staff of nurses and ancillary professionals, which allows for better outcomes and easier scheduling as patients are receiving their care from various specialists in one location.

    • Minimally-invasive esophagectomy

    • Intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT)

  • Non-surgical endoscopic treatment of pre-cancerous lesions and early esophageal cancer
