For adult burn patients, UC Health University Hospital Burn Center features a Burn Walk-in Center with full monitoring capabilities. The Center offers fast evaluation on the unit for patients with minor acute burns and has the sophisticated equipment needed to address more critical needs, such as topic epidermal necrolysis, soft tissue necrosis, necrotizing skin and soft tissue infections, hidradenitis suppurative and isolated inhalation injury.

A state-of-the-art burn care facility and tertiary referral center, Shriners Hospital for Children – Cincinnati offers the full continuum of comprehensive burn care, rehabilitation services and reconstructive surgery for pediatric burn patients.

The Division of Burn Surgery is involved in research efforts for the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of burns. Education and leadership efforts are directed toward the management of burn injuries and other skin and soft tissues disorders.
