Ambulatory – The ambulatory team focus is on regional anesthesia and fast-track techniques for ambulatory procedures, specializing in anesthesia for orthopaedics, plastic surgery, bariatrics and ENT surgery. The ambulatory service serves patients at the UC Health Surgical Hospital in West Chester and UC Health Holmes Hospital operating rooms.
Obstetrics & Gynecology – UC Health Obstetrical Anesthesia successfully provide maternal analgesia and anesthesia for 2,500 deliveries per year, including those with maternal and/or fetal high-risk complications.
Otolaryngology – UC Health Anesthesiology collaborates with specialty surgeons in airway management. Areas of anesthesia expertise include anesthetic techniques for complex airway cases, cancer surgery, skull base, orthognathic and minimally invasive sinus surgery. Special techniques include the use of video laryngoscopes, bronchoscopes and video stylet systems.
Orthopaedics – The UC Health Orthopaedics team focuses on developing regional anesthesia techniques, including ambulatory continuous nerve blocks.
